How and when contributions are forwarded to selected organizations
Oneworld.fund is a platform that supports impactful projects in the fields of environmental protection, animal welfare, humanitarian aid, and global development. Contributions made via this platform are voluntary and do not qualify as donations under charitable law.
1. Nature of Contributions
Contributions are not tax-deductible and do not qualify for donation receipts. oneworld.fund is not a registered non-profit organization (e.g. charity, foundation, or association). Contributions are voluntary payments made to support the continuation of selected projects through this platform.
2. Payout Schedule
Contributions are collected continuously and forwarded to the selected organizations in bundled transfers. This happens once per month, usually within the first five working days.
If the amount allocated for a specific organization or project is below a defined threshold (e.g. €100), the transfer may be postponed to the following month to ensure an effective and meaningful payout.
3. Use of Contributions
- 99% of each contribution is passed on to the selected organization or project.
- 1% is retained to cover the operational costs of the platform (e.g. hosting, security, maintenance).
We do not make profit from contributions. The 1% ensures that the platform can continue to operate independently and transparently.
4. Transparency and Accountability
After each monthly payout, oneworld.fund will publish an Impact Report summarizing:
- the total amount collected,
- the projects supported, and
- the exact amounts transferred.
We only work with trustworthy, transparent organizations that either publicly report their project activities or provide direct feedback.
5. No Legal Claim
Contributors acknowledge that there is no legal claim for how, when, or to whom contributions are forwarded. While we act with the highest standards of transparency and due diligence, contributors agree that their payment is voluntary and non-refundable.
6. Future Developments
We are currently operating as a private initiative. However, we are planning to establish a registered non-profit association (eingetragener Verein, e.V.) in the near future. Once this legal status is obtained, we will be able to issue official donation receipts (Spendenquittungen) for tax purposes under German law.
We will inform all contributors transparently once this step has been completed and the legal framework for tax-deductible donations is in place.
